Raymond came to my house and spent a good deal of time looking over my items to determine what had value. He gave me a good price for some of my items and referred me to other sources where I could sell my other items. He was very professional and knowledgeable !

I was looking on the website for antiques. He had such great reviews but I saw Justin Jaynes review that he was out of business. Thankfully, that's not true. He bought several items and paid a fair price. I highly recommend him.

It’s closed! My wife and I drove here from Chesapeake, couldn’t find it, so called the listed number. Raymond answered - and he sounded like at one point he probably had a pretty cool setup.

Wow! What an easy, effortless experience. I called the number on the website, he called be back within 1 hour, and came to my office where I had items in my car, all in the same day. Raymond is very nice, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. He gave me cash on the spot for the silverware I wanted to sell. I'll be calling on him again soon for other items

Raymond turned my chaos into cash. When my mom passed away I inherited a ton of antiques, coins, books, jewelry, glassware, and more. It was all pretty overwhelming, and I just wanted to get the stuff out of my house. We called Raymond and he came over the same day (within hours of our call) and went through boxes and boxes of stuff with us. He's very professional, his knowledge is amazing, and his honesty and integrity really put our minds at ease. He is fair in his offering prices, and it's obvious that he's not out to take advantage of anyone. What he didn't buy, he was able to recommend a local auction house. The bottom line is...Raymond knows his stuff, is a pleasure to work with, and saved me from a ton of frustration and heartache by giving me direction where I was spinning my wheels and going no where. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would. If you want the best...I highly recommend using Raymond.

When it comes time to sell family heirlooms, people naturally have questions. What are Grandma’s old hand-me-downs actually worth? How do we know if we’re getting a fair price? Do we have an unknown treasure in the attic or masterpiece in the closet? Who can we trust to rummage through our stuff and not rip us off? All I can say is, call Ray Higgins. He actually answered the phone himself and was able to come to our house within two hours (we were lucky he happened to already be in the area.) With his courteous professionalism and extensive knowledge, Ray was quickly able to ease our worries. He spent a good hour assessing our “valuables,” explaining which items had worth and why. (Since I had already done some preliminary research, we knew he was being up front with us.) By the end of his visit, we received a fair price for some old coins, watches, silver flatware, and crystal. We’re very satisfied and only wish we had more items of worth for Ray to buy!

I called Raymond to look at old clocks, he made an appointment to come to the house. He came two days later and professionally viewed the articles. A fair price was provided for 3 antique wall clocks. He also viewed old costume jewelry and stated that he was interested in many different old articles. He happily left with 3 clocks, while I was happy with the price and removal of the clocks. I would highly recommend Raymond if you are interested in selling older articles.
